The Charter Oaks neighborhood is near the City of Castle Pines, Colorado, just off Interstate 25 and Castle Pines Parkway in Denver’s southern suburbs. Comprised entirely of single family home sites, 42 families call Charter Oaks home. Our small neighborhood is close knit and friendly. Rural but suburban, rustic while cosmopolitan, Charter Oaks is unique unto itself. It’s far enough from Denver and Colorado Springs not to be entangled in their noise and pace, but close enough to easily enjoy all they have to offer.
The community is defined by its diverse wildlife and its foothills terrain. Ecologists would classify the ecosystem as mixed montane scrubland, being dominated by scrub oak and punctuated by pines and junipers. The people who live here just call it Heaven on Earth.
Below are just some of the nearby attractions and amenities :
- 10 golf courses within 10 miles;
- Rueter-Hess Reservoir;
- Cherokee Ranch and Castle;
- Castlewood Canyon State Park;
- Almost endless miles of hiking and biking trails; and for the shoppers,
- The Outlets at Castle Rock.
But what makes any community great, what makes a neighborhood home, is its residents. The people who live here make Charter Oaks a wonderful place to live and play. We are self-managed community. Our board of directors is comprised of residents elected by their neighbors.
